EMPLOYMENT OF INTERNATIONAL STAFF

Here at Pharmacy Recruit, we are working hard to help the pharmacy staff shortage. We have created a pathway for international candidates and aim to pave the way for their entry to NZ to come and work in your pharmacy.

If you are an employer wanting to go on our waitlist for an international candidate please let us know as soon as possible. After we have reviewed and screened an individual we will send you their profile and ask you to have a Zoom meeting with them. You get to choose whether or not they would be suitable to work for you, we assist with the requirements to get them into your dispensary.

Candidates with a reciprocal Bachelor of Pharmacy (UK, USA, Canada & Australia) secured for your business will incur our standard 10% success Fee.

For all others, see the information below:

For immigration, we generally see our candidates come through on an AEWV (Accredited Employer Work Visa). This means they will need a contract for a full-time position and their pay grade will relate to the median hourly rate (presently $29.66/hour).

Keep in mind that your pharmacy premises needs to be accredited by immigration to receive this kind of migrant worker. This is now mandatory in New Zealand.

Please email amelia@pharmacyrecruit.co.nz for more up-to-date information about site accreditation and employing an international pharmacist/technician.

Our fee structure for international candidates with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from a non-reciprocal country (e.g. Philippines, Malaysia, India, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, South Africa, etc.) is below:

Invoice 1) Charged when a contract is signed by the candidate $1000+GST.
Invoice 2) Charged when the candidate receives their Visa and can book their flights $1000+GST.

You as the employer and the candidate will incur the same set of fees each (a shared recruitment fee).

We also use the same fee structure should you choose to give us the CV of a candidate you found yourself and want us to handle their journey through the immigration process to NZ to work for you.
